Material
Does it have a Lifetime Warrantee?
Is it non-prorated or prorated?
Alcoa and Alside both have a non-prorated warrantee including material and labor.
Ask to see a copy of the warrantee.

Labor
Is the company reputable?
Weber and Sons has been in business since 1976.

Can the contractor give 50 or so jobs to look at?
Weber and Sons has over 1500 completed jobs in Oak Forest alone. Ask if it would be
all right to talk to the homeowners that the contractor already sided. (Workmanship,
Attitude, Cleanup)

Weber and Sons can show you a complete insurance policy including workers compensation

Soffit & Gutters
Are vents opened prior to installation of louvered panels?
Weber and Sons cut additional vents on every home. Often, there are no vents on garages

Is rotten wood to be replaced?
Absolutely, all rotten wood is placed prior to application of soffit and fascia.

Is gauge of soffit .019 gauge?
Builder panels .014 gauge, .016 gauge are used often on today's market to cut cost.
Weber and Sons uses only Alcoa's .019 gauge for better rigidity. Heavier gauges reduce
noise on windy days and also add a "nicer look" to a flatter product.

Is gauge of seamless aluminum gutter .032 gauge?
Absolutely! Weber and Sons will use Alcoa .032 gauge only.

Where are downspouts to be placed?
This question is often never discussed until too late and outlet holes are cut. Weber and
Sons explains thoroughly where water should run. Often, the homeowners input is
essential for best results. Extensions on downspouts is another important issue that
Weber and Sons covers thoroughly before doing work.

Quality
Is the job to be done on a timely basis - begin and finish without going to the next job?
Weber and Sons only work on one job at a time - every time. Too many installers jump
